Johannes Schimpelsberger. Lawyer and Artist.
Actually he is working in Tirana as an Expert in Technology & Law for an EU Justice Assistance Mission.
The Albanian Justice System is assisted by Experts of the European Union in its progress to transparency and efficiency. His main project is the computerization of the albanian courts.
As an Artist he deals with abstract painting and "food art".

First ideas of fruits as objects of art are also established in the web, created as an orange as symbol for sweet and tasty feelings (ADEQUART), then changed to an onion which is the contrary of this, having a strong and mouthtaking flavour (SCHAUNS). Here you can change the "fruit language" to switch to an apple. In the so called "Zyklus" you can find more about repeating food pictures. The idea of the food-works is to show fruits and food as artistic objects enumbering them and showing them in different situations and views.

Curriculum: Johannes Schimpelsberger, was born in 1977 in Steyr, Austria and grew up in a near village - Kronstorf. From 1983-1987 he went to school in the primary school in Kronstorf, from 1987 to 1995 he went to the Bundesrealgymnasium in Steyr, then from 1995 to 2000 he studied law in Linz (Austria) and Castellon (Spain). After finishing his studies he was working as an IT-Lawyer in Austria and Spain. He worked for different law offices as well as companies like Agilent Technologies and the Austrian Federal Computing Center for Justice projects. Recently he is working for the EU-Commission at an assistance Project for the Albanian Justice in Tirana, Albania (http://www.euralius.org.al).

He founded a virtual art initiative with the internetportal http://www.adequart.com, making the design and selecting the artists for this project. Thanks to his wife Lidia Dominguez, who is working as an informatic he could launch this site by the year 2003. Since then contineousely it grew with new artists composing a circle of artists which expose in the web. He had several exhibitions in Barcelona and Vienna, for example in the calle PI Margall (Spain), the Gallery Medio (Austria), the Black power Point Arts of the OeVP (Austria) and the international Art Fair in Vigo (Spain). Actually he works in the cycle of the repeating food, which shall be an integrative part of his view of "banal" art.
