Johanna Maria Ellinor Sällström (December 30, 1974– February 13, 2007) was a Swedish actress. She worked as an actress for more than 15 years before succumbing to a psychiatric illness, partly due to her experience of the 2004 tsunami.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Sällström made her first stage appearance in the town of Hudiksvall at the age of 15, in A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. She became famous in Sweden in the 1990s, after portraying the teenage girl Victoria Bärnsten in the soap opera Tre kronor. She soon appeared in many films and received a Guldbagge Award for best female actress in 1997. Later that same year, Sällström took a break from filming and moved to Denmark.

In 2000 she returned to Sweden to continue her acting career. Sällström became internationally known for her role as police agent Linda Wallander in the filming of Henning Mankell’s books about police inspector Kurt Wallander. Her last role was in a Ystad theatre production of Anton Chekhov's play The Seagull, which she left prematurely due to illness. ^[1]

Johanna Sällström was found dead shortly before midnight on February 13, 2007, in her home in Malmö.^[2]
