Johann Anton Friedrich Fleischmann

Johann Friedrich Anton Fleischmann (July 19, 1766 at MarktheidenfeldNovember 30, 1798 in Meiningen) was a German composer.

He learned to play piano early. He studied at Mannheim. There he was taught by the artist Ignaz Jakob Holzbauer.

Many of his works were printed during his lifetime.

The research about the song "Schlafe mein Prinzchen Schlaf ein", contributed to W.A. Mozart (KV350) or Flies, was - due to E. Goretzki - first composed by J.F.A. Fleischmann.

His son is W.Th. Fleischmann (1794-1886), had a grandchild Johanna was a painting artist.
