Hi, I'm Scott (aka JogCon). I'm a 22 year old working as an EMT, and EMD 9-1-1 Operator, as well as a Volunteer Firefighter for a Fire/EMS Department in the state of Florida, USA.

I mostly use Wikipedia from work. I began to read articles during my downtime and have been doing so for nearly a year. Eventually, I became interested in taking a part to further the community. I will mostly be working in articles that pertain to my two main hobbies, automobiles and video games. But as I am constantly striving to increase my knowledge base, I may occasionally pop up in articles other than in those two fields of study.
I am fairly new here as a contributor to the Wikipedia, so if something I say or do on here is considered taboo or otherwise wrong, please let me know so that I may strive not to do it again in the future. Apparantly, I'm a "sad spectacle and a sorry excuse for a wiki ambassador" according to at least 2 users. While I am not perfect (and will never seriously claim to be), I am not one to accept insults without just cause. I strive to be as civil as possible at all times, but I will respond much better to polite conversation and constructive criticism as opposed to rude remarks that hold no bearing.
After all, it is in my opinion that insults are the psychological crutch used by people without a truly supportive statement to stand on. Double so when your best response to a civil reply is some whining and crying about how my articles are so worthless. That's nice, it's time to move on though, kids. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Away from work and Wikipedia, I maintain a fairly active life. I own and race two cars, a 2002 Honda S2000 and a 1989 Peugeot 405 Mi16RS. I am an active member in the Sports Car Club of America and participate in road racing, rally racing, and autocross. I am also Vice-President of a local car club and over the last 4 years, have raised over $20,000 for local charity.
I also collect video games in the form of consoles, games, and memorabilia. My collection ranges from the mid 1970s, with consoles such as the Fairchild Channel F and Atari 2600, all the way up to current systems such as Nintendo Gamecube, Sony Playstation, and Microsoft Xbox. I am also a fan of PC games as well.
Beyond those two things, I do what many typical young adults enjoy doing. I go to the movies, listen to music, read books, go to bars, and hang out with my friends.
