Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
  • If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

[edit] Monster trucks

Joeystuff, you are filling in a lot of gaps in the monster truck section but if you could copy the formats from other trucks and use those as a base it would be easier for them to be edited. Also, some of what you have listed have incorrect names (I.e. Towasaurus Wrex is the truck's name, not "Tyrannosaurus Wrex" 1). I am trying to go through and edit what you have posted into the pre-existing format but it's quite a bit of information. Thanks for the help, though! Arenacale 19:33, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Another "hi there." To simply write a sentence saying that "X is a truck that races on the monster truck circuit" is not writing an article so much as a declarative sentence. Most of the trucks that you are adding do not have articles because they no longer exist and as such can either be redirects to their newer counterparts or were/are not notable in the first place! I have noticed that you are creating stubs on NASCAR drivers. Good work. I have notice that you have forgotten (or never knew) that adding a category for a person is slightly different than other things. You should include the name of the person, last name first, after a pipe in hte category. For example [[Category:NASCAR drivers|Hoff, Bill]] instead of just [[Category:NASCAR drivers]]. This makes Bill Hoff be listed by H not by B. Keep up the good work. Jon513 13:34, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
