[edit] Angelica Sin

Just a quick note that User:141.155.30.108 (who you blocked for legal/personal threats) has certainly been editing Wikipedia before... it wasn't until he put the "moochers" comment in the Angelica Sin article that I remembered where I'd heard that particular song before... look at the edits by User:68.175.39.202, specifically this one. So I suspect he'll eventually be back. Tabercil 23:03, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

You know, it all makes sense now. Thanks for the info. :-) -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 00:35, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Surfing through your articles related to my business (Adult Entertainment). First on the list, (titled name, above). I looked around some more and this exchange between you two sums up the porn area perfectly. No cares as to the real truth, but it seems that you make sure to attack a contributor. (It's nuts. As said by others, "Stick with what you know. You do not know porn.")70.18.31.45 03:52, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability (pornographic actors): Non-American awards

I was thinking of adding some European adult industry awards to the list of awards demonstrating the notability of a porn actor. I wanted to give you a chance to weigh in before making this change. Discussion here. – Iamcuriousblue 03:48, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Female adult bio‎ template

Hi Joe, just wondering why you did the revert? I feel that including the AWMDB link in the profile is just a relevant as the likes of EuroBabeIndex and convers an area none of the others such as IAFD and IMDB do so I wondered why it was that you took it out? BarryDanesh 12:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

The template is already overburdened by links, to be honest. (There are discussions about refactoring the template, which are at Template talk:Female adult bio.) Also, just because the link was removed from the infobox does not mean you can't add it to the pertinent articles under the "External links" section. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 15:27, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Okey dokey, I can see the logic in that. Thanks for letting me know. BarryDanesh 17:45, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
No problem. :-) -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 19:25, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ashley Blue video link

Ok, so I've been removing this link from the article for a while. Why did you leave it in? Not only is it rich media, it's non-encyclopedic, not relevant to the article, etc. etc. Valrith 23:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

The "rich media" rule isn't carte blanche... We can link to it, but it should be specific (which I can correct). To be honest, I feel it has some encyclopedic merit and it can be better included in the article, which is why I kept it. However, I would bring this discussion up on the Ashley Blue talk page, to see if we can determine consensus here. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud

[edit] Maria Ozawa

I believe I've added (c)shirouto-teien.com below the picture, and that picture is indeed made by shirouto-teien. Why did you remove it based on 'no copyright' reason?

W4wan

Copyright information must be on the image description page of the image, not on the article where the picture is used. Also, the image did not spell out the copyright (not who copyrighted it, but how they copyrighted it), and no source was given. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 11:20, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Taylorwane.jpg Copyright Information

The information for Taylorwane.jpg has been e-mailed to the indicated wikipedia e-mail. Can it be replaced on Taylor Wane's page now? now?

Upon confirmation. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 00:34, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] TIFFANY TOTH

i did not use any pop-ups? so what gives. add she is a great cook and you delete it why? JRMAN

Howdy! You apparently misread the edit sommary–I used popups. Also, being a "great cook" is a POV statement that goes against our policy on having articles in a neutral point of view, as well as being unsourced. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 00:10, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] TIFFANY TOTH

She states in playboy that is a ,great cook. i would known because she is a cousin. thank you , JOHN TOTH —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JRMAN (talkcontribs).

Regardless, this is a POV statement and should not be included in the article, per our policies on neutral point of view. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 02:02, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] IT SEEMS YOU DO NOT KNOW PORN .

Just stick To SCI-FI.john toth 05:48, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Care to explain? -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 13:04, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Explain? Your years of errors and bias speak for itself. BTW, I spoke directly to find out that there IS collusion in MAINTAINING the "errors." Stick with what you know. Your porn ignorance is obvious to anyone even slightly involved in the Industry.

That's a very interesting comment because I have talked to some very notable people in the porn industry, including Luc Wylder, and have talked to the owners of adultdvdtalk.com in the past, so I do have an understanding of the industry. Granted, while I don't consider myself the top most expert of pornography, what information I've added to articles has always been sourced. If you have verifiable and reliable sources for any new information, or information which contradicts previously established information, then feel free to bring it up. Having said that personal research is not permitted on Wikipedia, and if you see something that isn't sourced or cited, you are empowered to remove it. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 22:28, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Monique Alexander

Monique was going to dance at the Spearmintrhino on Feb.8th,2007.Website says also schedule can change.Which it did checked with SPEARMINTRHINO .COM AND CALLED NUMBER (213)629-9213, MONIQUE HAD TO RESCHEDULE THAT DATE.thank you ,JRMAN

O.K., thanks! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 03:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Real name issue

I'm not sure where to post this, but let me explain something to you. When you post an Adult Performers real name for anyone to read on the internet, you are doing nothing more than putting their life at risk for guaranteed stalkers. In turn making their life miserable! Are you getting off on the wow factor of what you think is such great journelism?? Please find some respect and leave that out if you're interested in being such a great contributor to this site. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gilbert26 (talkcontribs).

Thank you for your comments Gilbert! If the name is not sourced properly from a verifiable and reliable source then by all means that information should be removed. Wikipedia and its editors do nothing more than post information that is already out there (meaning that we do not original research, such as journalism). In summation, we merely repost what's already out there. Case in point, the following edits which you removed I've added back in, because of the sources below:
Thanks for your interest! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 22:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Thank you much for understanding. I am actually affiliated with Hillary and Sammie- hence my concern for untrue or unfair statements.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gilbert26 (talkcontribs).

No problem. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. If I may ask, how exactly are you affiliated with both these performers? (Also, you may add a signature to your posts by adding ~~~~ to the end of your posts on talk pages. Thanks!) -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 12:23, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

You keep putting Brittany Andrews' "real name" back, over and over. It is NOT sourced and you keep adding an alleged real name! You have no "objectivity" or real facts, with porn. Better to stick with what you know and do better.70.18.31.45 03:41, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

I haven't edited the article in the past month. Actually, looking at the history for the Brittany Andrews article, the last time I even edited the article was 15 May 2006, or 10 months ago as of this posting. So I don't know what exactly you're referring to here. Also, avoid personal attacks or they'll get you banned. Thanks! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 22:23, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Veronica Lee (model) article

A tag has been placed on Veronica Lee (Model), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Luke! 04:15, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

The article should be vetted through the Articles for deletion process. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 23:14, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
