Hello. My name is Joel. I am not a very prolific editor of Wikipedia, but whenever I see something that could use revision or a grammatical correction I try to do what I can. I often bump into the more obscure pages in the course of school-related research, and try and patch them up if they have been overlooked by chance readers or bots.

My primary language is of course English, but I have taken three years of German and spent part of last summer in Lastrup, Lower Saxony, Löningen, and other parts of Germany. I can read and speak German fairly well, but I cannot claim fluency.

I dabble in programming, but my main hobbies are Photography, Guitar, computers in general (I am a Linux user since about 2 years ago), and video games.

I have a passion for History and reading. My interests are very broad, and I could never develop a coherent list of them all, at least not for the moment.

I play World of Warcraft on the Eonar server.

  • Starting in the Spring of 2007 I plan on massively revamping the article on my alma mater, Norfolk Academy. I intend to supplement the historical and philosophical basis of the school and add photographs when applicable.
