Judging by the list of references, McCormack is far more notable for work on 3D graphics than for the NCR p-machine, for which no reference is given. Although the bitslice p-machine should be mentioned if a reference can be cited, the article should probably focus on this graphics work. That said, I definitely would like to learn more about his p-machine implementation. --Brouhaha 00:48, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Sadly, only Mr. McCormack's personal emails to me and conversation with other key players at UCSD are all that survive of this work. Joel's oustanding work at DEC, Compaq, and HP are well documented. His involvement at Volition is in the PUG newletters, #25 in reference to a Modula-2 compiler they developed. This compiler can still be found on the web in software archives. I have attempted to contact Joel to expand, correct, and site this article - I hope to hear from him soon. Geeperzcreeperz 09:19, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
