Joey Donovan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Joey Donovan (January 31st, 1967-) was the radio name for Joey Reynolds (birth name Edward Joseph Reynolds, II).
Donovan was co-host and co-producer with David Durica of the weekly nationally syndicated radio program "Sci-fi Overdrive". Donovan's career began on March 17, 1984 at KHOM radio in Houma, Louisiana. He was a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School.
Donovan also went by his natural name of Joey Reynolds as host of an internet-only talk program American Who, which features interviews with individuals from the BBC science fiction series "Doctor Who". In September, 2006, Reynolds left "Sci-fi Overdrive" as host and executive producer of "That Sci-fi Show," an Internet-only radio program also available for podcast, citing creative differences with both management of the network carrying his program, as well as Durica.
Donovan also acted in the role of Santini in the 2003 film "Off the Chain" (as Joey Reynolds), which has not been released to the public.
