Perhaps most notable among Pelletier's works is his massive Christ's Entry into Washington in 2008, a satirical painting based off of James Ensor's Christ's Entry into Brussels in 1889. The painting is a severely critical depiction of the growing influence of Christian fundamentalism in American politics. Over one hundred historical figures, politicians, televangelists, Christian and political activists, celebrities, and other notable people are portrayed in the huge 8' 4" x 14' acrylic on canvas painting.
