Joe Zerhusen is the public-address announcer for Cincinnati Reds home games at Great American Ball Park.[1] He was one of 50 applicants and four finalists who applied for the position in March 2003. He has been the PA announcer since the season opener on March 31, 2003.

The only game he did not announce was on September 8, 2006, when he opted to watch his son, Joey, play quarterback for Archbishop McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Scoreboard operations employee Aaron Sharpe substituted in Zerhusen's absence.

Zerhusen is also a public-address announcer for home University of Cincinnati men's basketball and football games.

Zerhusen works as an account executive for AM radio stations WKRC and WSAI in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University.
