Joe Plummer is a percussionist from Mariposa, California.[specify] He currently plays in the indie rock band Modest Mouse and performed on their latest album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Plummer, before joining Modest Mouse, played with the indie rock bands The Black Heart Procession and The Magic Magicians.[1]
