[edit] Career
Commonly known just as Odajoe, and also known for unusual hairstyle, he has starred in such films as the Katsuhiro Otomo-directed live-action movie adaptation of the manga and anime series, Mushishi, where he was featured as the main character, Ginko, as well as other well-known films such as SHINOBI - Heart Under Blade.
He is also well known by much of the tokusatsu fandom in his starring role as Godai Yuusuke from Kamen Rider Kuuga.
[edit] Personal life
He applied to the California State University, Fresno, but enrolled as a student of the Theater and Arts Department by mistake. He wanted to be a director in fact.[1]
In 2005 when a movie named House of Himiko was published, he said he was flatsharing with a gay man when he was a student at the university[2][3], and at the same time he declared himself an asexual (but it is difficult to say whether this is true or not because he often jokes).
He often says that Fresno is his second homeland.[4]
