Joe Maxwell is an American politician. He served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 1991 to 1995, in the Missouri State Senate from 1995 to 2000 and as Missouri's Lieutenant Governor from 2000 to 2005. He is a Democrat and is from Audrain County.
