Joe Lombardi is the current offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. He was formerly the defensive assistant for the Atlanta Falcons.
Before coaching at the NFL level, Lombardi has coached Mercyhurst College, Bucknell University, the Virginia Military Institute, and the University of Dayton. He even coached the New York/New Jersey Hitmen in the one year of the XFL. Lombardi played tight end and also played lacrosse while attending the United States Air Force Academy.
Lombardi is the grandson of former Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi.
