Joe Cinque's Consolation is a non-fiction book written by Australian author Helen Garner, and published in 2004. It details the events related to the death of Joe Cinque, an engineer living in Canberra. It also follows the court proceedings of Anu Singh, Cinque's girlfriend, who was convicted of his manslaughter after killing him with an overdose of heroin, and her friend Madhavi Rao, who was acquitted of all charges relating to the death despite knowing of Singh's plans to kill Cinque.
