Joe C.

Joseph Calleja (November 9, 1974November 16, 2000), better known as Joe C. was an American rapper. He became popular as part of Kid Rock's band, after the two met at one of Rock's concerts earlier in their respective careers.

Joe C. was born in Taylor, Michigan. He released his first album with Kid Rock in 1998, with Devil Without a Cause.

Joe C. went on to appear in the television show such as a guest role on The Simpsons and as a celebrity deathmatch competitor on MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch in 2000. He appeared in WWF, now known as (WWE), helping Too Cool win the World Tag Team Championships in 2000 as well.

He had developed celiac disease, which stunted his growth at 3 ft 9 in (114 cm). The disease also required numerous pills every day and dialysis. He died from complications of the disease in 2000 in his home in Taylor.
