Joe Gibbs Racing is a group of NASCAR racing teams owned by Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs. Started its inception in 1991, JGR has won three NASCAR Championship Nextel Cup titles with drivers Tony Stewart (2002, 2005) and Bobby Labonte (2000).

The team is based in Huntersville, North Carolina, which is near Charlotte.
