Jocelyne Lanois

Jocelyne Lanois is a Canadian musician, bassplayer, songwriter , who has been a member of the bands Martha and the Muffins and Crash Vegas. She is the sister of legendary record producer Daniel Lanois, and was partner to producer, musician and Boys Brigade founder Malcolm Burn, collaborating on his solo release, Redemption, while they together operated the experimental Lab Studio.

Lanois went on to develop a career in scoring music for short films and documentaries, in addition to touring stints as bass player with Ani DiFranco and Chris Whitley.
