Hi, as you might notice, your username is very similar to mine :) This might get confusing to other editors later on, would you mind creating a slightly different username? If you want to transfer the edits you've made so far to a new username, that's possible, just let me know and I'll explain how --JoanneB 21:50, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Choate Rosemany Hall - Pond view.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Choate Rosemany Hall - Pond view.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:04, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why are you reverting my changes? Please let's discuss.
Hi. You seem to have repeatedly reverted my addition of an image to the "Choate Rosemary Hall" page; I don't know why, and you don't seem to be responding to my requests on the Discussion page to discuss the reason for the change and how the page might look best. Now you have overwritten my image with one of yours which you'd already uploaded with a different title, which had the effect of also reverting my change to another page. Could we please talk about this like adults? I'm sure we both just want the pages in question to look as good as possible; there is no need to stomp on each others' work.
