Joan Walley

Joan Lorraine Walley (born 23 January 1949, Stoke-on-Trent, Mrs Jan Ostrowski) is a politician in the United Kingdom. Since the deselection of her predeceasor John Forrester in 1987, she has been Labour Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Stoke-on-Trent North (the second female MP for the seat after Harriet Slater from 1953 to 1966). Walley had previously been a councillor on Lambeth Council.
