Joan Tipon (born 09 April 1982) is an amateur boxer from the Philippines. He competed at the 2006 Doha Asian Games in the Bantamweight (– 54kg) division and won the gold medal in a decisive match against Han Soon-Chul of Korea, 21-10.[1]
He also competed at the 2005 Southeast Asian Games held in Bacolod City, Philippines and won the gold medal in the same division against Tangtong Klongjian of Thailand 24-5. [2]
