[edit] Fields of Interests
Linguistics: Grzega's current linguistic research interests are: onomasiology, Eurolinguistics, intercultural communication, the didactics of English as a Lingua Franca, applied linguistics in general and the role of language and communication in knowledge transfer. Furthermore, he has developped the system of Basic Global English (BGE) for beginning learners of English (here English is consciously dealt with as an international lingua franca). With Onomasiology Online (OnOn) he has founded one of the first peer-reviewed academic journals of German linguistics. His second internet journal is dedicated to Eurolinguistics: Journal for EuroLinguistiX (JELiX).
University Didactics: Another of Grzega's fields of interest is teaching at university. He particularly helps promote and elaborate the didactic model of learning by teaching (Lernen durch Lehren), which was initiated in the 1980's by Jean-Pol Martin.
