Jo Nesbø

Jo Nesbø (born 29 March 1960) is a Norwegian author and pop musician.
He was born in Oslo and grew up in Molde. Nesbø has primarily written crime novels, but also song lyrics for the pop band Di Derre (in which is the vocalist) and a play.
He has been awarded the Norwegian Rivertonprisen and the Scandinavian Glasnöklen for his crime novels, and his works have been translated into Swedish, Finnish, Danish, German, Dutch, Lithuanian, Russian, Polish, English and French.
