Jo Gartner (January 24, 1954 – June 1, 1986) was a Formula One and sports car endurance driver from Austria. After a successful junior formula career, including wins in Formula 2. He participated in eight F1 grands prix for Osella, debuting on May 6, 1984, scoring no points. Despite finishing 5th at the 1984 Italian Grand Prix, he was awarded no points because Osella had officially entered only one car for the season, and Gartner was driving a second car.
He died on June 1, 1986, during the 24 hours of Le Mans race in a Porsche 962, a year after winning the 12 Hours of Sebring.
