João Coimbra fullname João Carlos Amaral Marques Coimbra (born 24 May 1986 in Vimieiro, Santa Comba Dão) is a Portuguese footballer. He debuted for SL Benfica main team as a midfielder in season 2005/2006. He studies medicine at the University of Lisbon.

He also debuted in 1st team against Bayern Munich in the Dubai Cup and against SS Lazio in the final where Benfica won.
