In molecular biology, JNK (c-Jun N-terminal kinase; pronounced "junk") is one of the of mitogen-activated protein kinases. The JNK pathway is the signaling pathway of which JNK is a part. JNK activates the proto-oncogene c-Jun, part of the AP-1 early response transcription factor.
