Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College is established in the year 1983 by Mahatma Gandhi Mission.

Hon. Shri Kamalkishore Kadam, chairman of MGM trust has obtained his Masters Degree from IIT Mumbai. He was minister for education in the state of Maharshtra and has headed many educational and industrial organization and in co-operative sectors and he is closely associated with many social organization in Marathwada region.
