[edit] Jewish lists

I am doubtful that lists of facts can be copyrighted, please explain why you think they can be and provide appropriate legal documentation. Arniep 22:26, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Re: "Wikipedia: Copyright problems/2005 December 13" Question

That note means that I moved the discussion from the section for that date to the section called Other on the Copyright The discussion can continue there, or if someone with a clearer understanding of how copyright applies in that situation may come along and make a decision about it. Since I wasn't certain myself, I took no action. Hope that helps. .:.Jareth.:. babelfish 22:16, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of Jewish ___s

Greetings. I'm very interested in the debate at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/Other/List of Jewish scientists and philosophers. Thanks for sticking with this - your willingness to compromise is admirable, and you are certainly not being unreasonable. I just want to say that Michael Snow doesn't represent Wikipedia any more than you or I do, and that eventually we will work this out. Thanks, – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 16:53, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

I have made a proposed solution at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/Other/List of Jewish scientists and philosophers. Could you let me know what you think? Thanks, – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 13:41, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

I have now fixed up List of Jewish scientists and philosophers and List of Jewish recipients of the National Medal of Science according to our conversations. They both link prominently to your site, and specify that your lists are copyrighted and are more comprehensive. If there's anything else I can do, let me know. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 19:48, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
