When did Jim and Cressida marry? Is there any more info available on how they met and/or on what happened to Angels 1-5? We need some photos: a picture of Jim or Jim and Cressida. Maybe a picture of his artwork. Perhaps a shot of Trancentral or his AAA Saracens. Anything to add some colour; preferably free images but fair use is OK if they fit the article and can thus have a suitable fair use rationale written Still to do: the ambient-house and post-KLF sections. Don't forget to report on AAA and the debunking in the Stewart Home PDF. Solid Gold... can get a mention too (and it would be a good time to decide whether to turn I Wanna 1-2-1 With You red or not, as recently requested at WP:Requested Articles). Expand early life pre-18. If this isn't covered, the article may seem incomprehensive to other editors. Make "Post KLF" section flow more smoothly. Right now it reads a little listy, with typical sentences starting "In 2000" or "In 2002" etc. This would fail criterion 1. a. of "What is a featured article?".

I uploaded a photo, JimmyCauty.jpg (right), taken from the Brilliant album cover, but the template insists on making it enormous, which looks terrible. Anyone know how to include it at its normal size (95 x 115)? Rizzoj 13:02, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Before you do anything else with it, it might help for the pic to actually be OF Jimmy. He's the one on the left of the album cover. The pic you have here now is of Youth.

I moved the categories from the category that collects articles on Jimmy, to the article on Jimmy himself. I haven't seen any written guidelines on this, but it seems to make sense. The one that caught my eye was Category:Guitarists. Cauty was the only person whose category was on the list (up in the top, as a subcategory), as opposed to the person's article. I've been wandering through categories, looking for other examples of this "problem" to fix, and I haven't found any more (except for one where a band and its category were both in a category). So I'd say there isn't really a mishmash of styles where this is concerned. Aside from that, it makes sense to me. If I'm looking at the list of guitarists, for some reason, I'm probably going to want to look at the biographies for those artists, rather than another list of articles relating to those artists. -Freekee 15:38, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes, that's a good point. I think though it should be done with some discretion - in the case of guitarists you're certainly right. In the case of Category:The KLF however, I think it might be better to have his subcategory appear. Also, I know that subcats appear in most uses of... hmm... Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the KLF thing. What would be most helpful to someone interested in The KLF? If someone wants to learn more about related projects, would they want to first learn who this guy is, and then branch out from there, or would it be good to show them the whole list of everyone who is related to the guy who's related to The KLF? I asked for a more opinions at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Music#Categories (which you may have seen by now). Seems like kind of a wide-reaching issue. I couldn't find any rules at WP:CGZ. I think we'll just have to go with what makes sense, but I'd like it to apply to bands in general. -Freekee 03:25, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

I've learnt recently that articles with an eponymous category should be in the categories they would belong to if they didn't have that eponymous category, meaning Freekee was correct. The eponymous categories themselves should belong to, at the very least, Category:Categories named after musicians. --kingboyk 10:59, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

I've read in various reviews that Cauty was involved in "From a Distance (Blast Master v The Corpral)". I sadly don't have the liner notes with me, but I think Cauty is credited as "co-writer" or something. Unfortunately, none of the reviews/info seem to specify what Cauty did exactly. According to Discogs, Cauty is the "Blast Master" part of the title btw.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wickethewok (talk • contribs) .

Of course I assume good faith, and it's great to see a fact added with a citation, but nonetheless I'm just a little intrigued that a book about rock published in 1980 would mention Jimmy Cauty. Could we get a little more detail on this (here on the talk page)? What does it actually say about him? Perhaps it can help flesh out his early years? --kingboyk 15:09, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Sadly all it says of his early years is "Totnes - Birthplace of Jimmy Cauty, once in Zodiac Mindwarp's Love Reaction and Brilliant; later half of The Timelords, The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu and the KLF" - which we know already. This article says that the KLF were inspired by situationism, but the band's article states discordianism as the main inspiration. Which is true? Totnesmartin 15:39, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
