Dominic’s fifth birthday is coming up. Kim asks Jimmy and Christine if they are having a party. Jimmy and Christine say they are just having cake. Greg comes home and says he was at the store and bought the stuff on Kim’s list. Jimmy says it was his list. Kim says she wouldn’t spell butter with two “d’s”. Kim tells Greg that Jimmy and Christine aren’t having Dominic a party. Greg and Kim agree to throw Dominic a party. Greg tells The Hughes that they will throw the party. Jimmy says tomorrow he will start looking for a job. Greg is angry that Jimmy is just starting. Jimmy asks Greg if there are any positions at the studio. Greg says no. Greg tells Kim he lied about the studio. Greg says he doesn’t want Jimmy working at the studio with him. Kim makes him agree to get Jimmy an interview.

On the day of Jimmy’s interview, Greg tells the interviewee to put as little effort into his interview as he would anyone else. Greg tells the interviewee that Jimmy is a college dropout and his a minor criminal record for knocking out a security guard. Greg takes off leaving Jimmy to explain. Greg is coming in to work when he sees Jimmy at the front gate. Greg asks what he is doing. Jimmy tells him that since he is knocked out a security guard he got a job as one.

That night, Jimmy is showing a neighbor his pepper spray when he sprays her in the eyes. Jimmy announces that he got his Christmas card picture of him, in the head of the studio’s car, Gary Walden. Greg is angry for Jimmy holding him up while he took a picture in his car. Jimmy tells Greg he invited Gary to Dominic’s party. Gary shows up and Greg is too afraid to talk to him. Every time Gary is around, Greg ignores him. Gary tells Jimmy that Greg is weird. Jimmy tells Greg that he is freaking Gary out. Greg finally talks to Gary. Greg gives Gary’s kid a peanut butter cookie and his son has an allergic reaction. At the ER, Greg wants to apologize to Gary, but Gary refuses to talk to him. He hired Jimmy to be his personal security guard.
