Jimmy Del Ponte

Jimmy Del Ponte is a radio personality on Oldies 103.3 in Boston , Mass. His skits include "Frankie from Everett", "Concetta" and sports updates from Joe Jennings. He works on the morning show with June Knight, Mauzy Stafford, and Dale Dorman who is the host of the show. Jimmy writes parody songs aand contributes jokes and funny bits to the program. Jimmy graduated from Emerson College in 1977 with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Jimmy spent 13 years on The "Matty In The Morning" show at Kiss 108 in Boston, His colorful local characterizations won him and then producer Rich ( RockY) Bouno the Best Morning Drive award in Boston Magazine in 1986. His characters Blanche and Jonny C became popular favorites. Jimmy has shared stages and venues with Tony Bennett, Bobby Vinton, Peter Tork, and The Grass Roots. Jimmy plays a priest in the upcoming movie, "The Brother From Boston" which won awards at The San Antonio Film Festival.
Jimmy has two sons who are following in his musical and acting footsteps.
