Jimi Mistry (born 1973 in Yorkshire, England) is a British Asian actor born to a Parsi Indian father and a Catholic Irish mother. He trained at the Birmingham School of Acting. He first gained exposure playing a doctor on the British soap opera EastEnders.

In 2000, Mistry played small-time crook Eddie in the comedy Born Romantic. This was followed by a small role in the television drama My Kingdom.

He then starred in his first American film, The Guru, where he played Ramu Gupta, an Indian dance teacher who moves to America to be a star, but ends up with a career using his unique sensual abilities to please women. The movie contains elements of Bollywood movies within a standard romantic comedy plot. Mistry next starred in the British comedy The Truth About Love.
