Jimbōchō Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jimbōchō Station (神保町駅 -eki?) is a metro station in Jinbōchō, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan.
Because of its proximity to several major universities, and its convenience as a transfer point, it is the second-busiest station in the Toei Subway network after Shinjuku.
The station opened in 1972 as part of the Toei Line 6, later renamed Mita Line. The Shinjuku Line began service to Jimbōchō in 1980, and the Hanzomon Line began service to Jimbōchō in 1989.
