Jim Rutherford

James Earl "Jim" Rutherford (born February 17, 1949, in Beeton, Ontario) is a former goaltender in the National Hockey League who played for the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Los Angeles Kings in the 1970s and 1980s. He is currently the general manager of the Carolina Hurricanes. The Carolina Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup on June 19, 2006 while Rutherford was the General Manager.
