Jim Poyser is a writer and producer based in Manchester, UK. He has worked extensively for the BBC, producing and writing radio comedies and dramas. He is currently a television comedy producer for BBC Comedy (North). He was script editor on the Bafta-winning Paul Abbott drama Shameless. He was nominated for a North West Comedy Award in 2006.
