Jim Mullaney

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jim Mullaney, ghostwriter of the The Destroyer series, was born in Massachusetts, the last of six children. He decided to become a professional writer in fourth grade English class. Fifteen years later, he sold his first novel. He has since published 21 others.

The first Destroyer novel he contributed to was #88 - The Ultimate Death. He was the sole writer for #111-#131.

He likes dogs and hates cats. He used to slice bologna for a living, but he's not proud of that fact. Neither is he ashamed of it. He currently lives a hermit-like existence in his native New England. Mullaney's pet peeves include poverty and injustice, but only as they apply to him.

He has been named as the CREDITED author (along with series co-creator Warren Murphy) of the Destroyer, which beginning in May 2007, will be published by Tor Books. The first book's title is The New Destroyer: Guardian Angel. The second book, Choke Hold, is tentatively scheduled for Sept., 2007.
