Jim Meadowcroft (born 15 December 1946) is a retired English professional snooker player who has latterly been a coach and a commentator on the game.
His best years were during the 1970s. He was ranked number 12 in the world in 1976-77 and reached the second round of the world championship three times. Meadowcroft is the author of " Higgins, Taylor and me." and has served as a director of snooker's governing body the WPBSA.
