Jim Eason

Jim Eason is a talk radio pioneer with decades of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jim always ended his talk show with the catchphrase "do what you can, but behave yourself".
He was an Air Force weatherman at Sidi Slimane and Nouasseur Air Base from 1955 to 1956, and in Greenland in 1960. After nine years (1954-1963) in the USAF as a meteorologist, Jim came to the San Francisco bay area and attended college at San Francisco State, majoring in Radio and Television.
RADIO CAREER
- 1966-67 Hosted "Testing 1-2-3" a call in game show on KCBS.
- 1969 Joined KGO as a weekend talk show host after KCBS went to an all news format.
- 1970 Jim Eason became as a weeknight talk show host. Moved to the afternoons in 1973.
- 1996 Jim Eason rejoins KSFO.
- 2000 Quit radio and retired in 2000. [1]
