Jim Colony

Jim Colony is a drive-time sports news announcer for ESPN Radio 1250 in Pittsburgh. He frequently draws the ire of 1250 talk show host Mark Madden. He was born in South Boston, raised in New Hampshire, and graduated from the University of New Hampshire.

He was hired by WTAE-AM Pittsburgh in 1991. He co-hosts Pittsburgh Game Night with a variety of Pittsburgh sports media personalities weeknights from 7-9 PM. He also appears on Steel City Game Day on Sundays during the Pittsburgh Steelers season.

He is the focus of a new segment on the Mark Madden show, entitled "Mr. Colony, Super Jackass." This is a twist of the "Mr. Madden, Super Genius" segment. Also had two kids, Petey and Jim Jr.
