Jim Brower

James Robert Brower (born December 29, 1972 in Edina, Minnesota) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has played with 7 other different MLB teams: Cleveland Indians (1999-2000), Cincinnati Reds (2001-2002), Montreal Expos (2002), San Francisco Giants (2003-2004), Atlanta Braves (2005), Baltimore Orioles (2006), and San Diego Padres (2006). As a member of the Giants, he tied the team record with 89 relief appearances.
In his career, Brower has worked as a starting and relief pitcher. In the off season, Brower and his wife, Jessica, visit terminally ill children in area hospitals.
