Jim Barnett (basketball)

James Franklin Barnett (born July 7, 1944 in Greenville, South Carolina) is a former professional basketball player. Barnett, who played college basketball for the University of Oregon, was a 6'4" guard/forward who played eleven seasons in the NBA with eight teams. He was eighth pick overall in the 1966 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He scored 8,536 total points in his 732 game career, averaging 11.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
Barnett is currently in his 21st season as a television analyst for the Golden State Warriors, one of eight teams for whom he played. [1]
