Jilib

Jilib (other names: Gilib, Gelib, Jillib, Jillio) is a town in Somalia, with an estimated population of approximately 45,000.[1] The Islamic Courts Union was defeated there in the Battle of Jilib (2006-12-31-2007-01-01).
