Shanghai Naval Base, China (June 28, 2006) - Sailors assigned to the U.S. Navy's amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) board the People's Liberation Army (Navy) frigate Sanming (FFGHM 523), during Blue Ridge's port visit to Shanghai, China. Blue Ridge is the forward deployed 7th Fleet command ship homeported in Yokosuka, Japan, and visited Shanghai to promote friendship and camaraderie between the two Navies.
