Jhalod

Jhalod is a town in Dahod district, Gujarat, India. It is situated on the eastern border of the Gujarat 5 km far from Rajesthan border near the Titodi River.

In the 11th century, a young parma rajput from Chandravati settled there. He gave his name to the city.

The population of Jhalod is constituted mainly of Vaniks as well as Brahmins, Patels, Panchals, Marvadis, Jains, and Muslims.
