Jhala may be any of the following:

  • The name of a clan of Rajputs belonging to the Surayavanshi lineage. Heirs of Harpaldev and Shaktidevi 19 son of The Harpaldev, One of the Manguji(Limbdi) and his son is Karansinhji (Samla) Their main centers are the Dhrangadhra & surendranagar area of Gujarat and Jhalawar in Rajasthan.
  • An term in Hindustani music which denotes the fast-paced conclusions of classical compositions. It is often characterized by the overwhelming of the melodic component by the rhythmic component. This is sometimes effected by the rapid striking together of the chikari between notes.
