Thanks for uploading Image:Carte-localisation.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. Hey JForget. You choose your method for editing, but I suggest you should use the preview function, it will make it really easier to check the History of pages. I responded to your comments on the talk page. Let me post a copy here:

There have been many, many discussions on English place names for Montreal and Quebec. The concensus has been to use the most common English name, which often (due to the Charter of the Franch Language) is unofficial or unrecognized. The name on the entrance is in French. In English, it is almost always called Alexis Nihon Plaza. The subject of the article may be in Quebec, but this is the English Wikipedia and therefore the Anglo-Quebecer terms and names are preferred. That's why it is Montreal, Quebec, Mount Royal, Saint Catherine Street, the Metro and not Montréal, Québec, Mont Royal, Rue Sainte-Catherine, and Le Métro.
None of these names are "official" (for example, the official name of Montreal is always the French version, with the accent). However, they are accepted as common usage whereas the official names respresent political will (i.e. the penchant toward francization) versus true English-language usage. This is why the name should be Alexis Nihon Plaza. I hope the article can be changed back soon.--Larineso 20:39, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

I noticed the discussion over at Craig Sharpe, and I'm aware of this user who keeps adding non-stop ethnicity cats to Canadian articles based on, seemingly, last names only. Although I haven't seen a source on Sharpe, Jake Gold and Zack Werner are definitely both Jewish. See this interview [1] where they talk about that. Cheers, Mad Jack 02:48, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

I love what you're doing with that page. Since it was an outbreak of such immense scale, what would you say to moving the stuff you've made already to another article totally, say, List of tornadoes in the Super Outbreak. I think it would help the flow of the main article, and you wouldn't be restricted to adding only the notable tornadoes. -Runningonbrains 17:47, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

If you don't object, I'm going to move the prose sections from the sub-article to the main article and re-designate the sub-article as a list (if that made any sense whatsoever :-P). There really won't be much of a main article if all info on the tornadoes is located on the subpage....really just the list should be there. Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia. Could you also please consider using our vandal warning system [2]? First offenses get a "test1," then a "test2," followed by a "test3" and "test4." I extensively reworded Boulevard Gréber (Gatineau) today. Please check it over and make sure I did not change the sense, since there were a few things where the meaning of the former text was unclear, particularly regarding the bus routes. It used to sound like the park-and-rides were no longer there, but I think they still exist. You look like the person that is making the majority of the edits on this article, so I have a request of you: When you stated "He announced plans to compete in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2007 for Riley D'Hondt Motorsports with sponsorship from SportClips, but he has since stated that he has no plans to run in NASCAR in 2007.", that last part doesn't make sense to me. When you say that Tracy won't run NASCAR in 2007, which series do you mean? Craftsman Truck or NEXTEL Cup? [edit] November 1989 tornadoes

I went through the National Climatic Data Center database for those two days and concluded - your thoughts re: connections between tornadoes ARE INDEED correct. However, that invokes a larger-scale merge - another tornado on the 16th with an article, the East Coldenham Elementary School disaster, killed 9 in Newburgh, New York (despite being only an F1). There are about 45 tornadoes listed on those two days in many states, although some affected multiple counties and appear more than once (they need to be analyzed carefully). I have called for merges and renamings. Another example exists for a three-article merge from May 30-31, 1998. CrazyC83 05:10, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your help.

I would have warned the vandal except I had no idea who vandalised the page and I did not want to go about accusing innocent users. I have a feeling it was an IP address rather than an actual user and I dont know whether you can warn IP addresses.

Anyway, I'll keep on the lookout for more mindless vandalism.

Wait. I see what I did wrong. My mouse must have been slightly to the left and opened the popups revert menu off the (last) version rather than where I thought I aimed which was slightly to the right and was the timestamp for your version. Opening revert off (last) reverts to the prior version than the one you are looking at. Didnt realize you could do that. I'll have to me more careful of that in the future. Hi. Saw your edit. Thanks. Sorry to bother you, but it's still a bit unclear what you are saying. The Ottawa Project is somewhat unclear itself as to what the scope is, and I am pretty sure that GreenJoe believes that it has always been limited to just Ottawa. So, if you believe that the scope of the project should be broader and should include the rest of the NCR, then you should say that explicitly, otherwise it appears that you are agreeing with GreenJoe. I was looking at the Eastern North America Valentine's Day Blizzard article and you seemed to have reverted the edits on the power outage section removing the commas from the states that have counted the customers without power. Was there something wrong with the edit I have done? I known we live in two different countries and have different customs over the use of commas. Spongefan 22:42, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
