Jezero

Jezero (Cyrillic: Језеро) is a village and a municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Municipality was created from part of the pre-war municipality of Jajce (the other part of the pre-war municipality is now in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

It is located between municipalities of Mrkonjić Grad in the north-west, Jajce in the east, and Šipovo in the south.

In 1991, the population of the Jezero village numbered 2,264 people, including:
- 1,241 Serbs (55%) (See: Serbs of Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- 757 Muslims by nationality (33%)
- 200 Croats (9%) (See: Croats of Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- 42 Yugoslavs (2%)
- 24 others (1%)

In 2006, the majority of inhabitants of municipality were ethnic Serbs. [2]
