From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Jewish Communal Service Association (JCSA) is the unique association bringing together the multiple professions working on behalf of the community, providing valuable collaborative and advancement opportunities.
Through the support of networking, professional development, the creation and dissemination of educational resources, the promotion of best practices, recognition and advocacy, JCSA has helped define and promote the field of Jewish communal service.
JCSA supports 15 Local Groups across North America and actively assists in the creation of new groups. JCSA publications and the prestigious Young Professional Award recognize exemplary leadership.
JCSA publishes the highly regarded Journal of Jewish Communal Service. This periodical focuses on best practices, trends and developments and critical thinking on important issues for the Jewish community. While some recent issues can be found online, JCSA is currently working to digitize the entire run of the Journal starting from its initial 1924 publication.
