[edit] IM Arms and related
Please do not create extremely short articles without sufficient context. If they don't include sufficient information for the reader, they may be deleted. If not enough information is available for a longer article, you'd probably be better off merging the pages. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 11:29, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:FN38.JPG
Thank you for uploading Image:FN38.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Megapixie 04:25, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Other images with problems
All of the images you've uploaded also have problems - i.e. no license. You appear to have found all of them by searching using google. Our image upload page makes it very clear that:
Please note: Most images on the internet are copyrighted under terms intended to prevent them from being freely used on other sites, making it inappropriate and/or illegal to upload them to Wikipedia.
I will tag all of these images to have them deleted. Please review our Image use policy before uploading any more images.

[edit] Image upload problems
Dave - the problem is that the images are unlikely to be suitable for wikipedia for copyright reasons. The best thing that you could do is go to Special:Upload and read EVERYTHING linked in the blue box at the top of the page (in particular WP:IUP and WP:UPIMAGE). Wikipedia is not a forum - you cannot upload images you find randomly on the internet without having them deleted fairly quickly. Megapixie 23:08, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mistagging images is a really bad idea
Mistagging the images as PD-USmil is a really bad idea for a whole number of reasons. I have tagged all the images you've mistagged as speedy deletes. Megapixie 23:06, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The images are now on WP:CP
Dave I have now listed this images on WP:CP there are clearly copyright issues for wikipedia and need to be deleted. It is important that wikipedia has exact and accurate copyright information for all images - to prevent the project being harmed by a potential copyright lawsuit. For the final time: Random images from the internet are not suitable for inclusion in wikipedia - unless their copyright status is known exactly.

[edit] AfD nomination of Bonney Eberndu
An editor has nominated Bonney Eberndu, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bonney Eberndu and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. [edit] Uploading of images with incorrect copyright tags
This is the last warning you are going to get regarding this. These images (1,2, 3, etc) are not GFDL, you did not create them. By uploading them with false copyright information you expose yourself and wikipedia to potential legal problems. I have tried to make this clear to you several times [1] [2] [3]. You have made a number of contributions to wikipedia - some of which have been genuinely helpful - for example Nordenfelt gun, others have been less helpful - for example Waltism.
If you wish to continue to make useful contributions to wikipedia - I would suggest that you wait until you understand the rules before uploading any more images. The copyright rules are complex, and if you don't understand them it's better to either ask questions at Wikipedia:Media Copyright Questions or do not upload images.
If you persist in uploading images under the wrong copyright tag I will pursue a block against this account and the IP you log in from preventing you from further damaging wikipedia by uploading and mistagging copyright content. Megapixie 05:08, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- As above, I've been through the latest uploads and deleted those where is seems extermely unlikely you are the copyright holder. Images clearly scanned from newspapers and books. Merely scanning an image does not give you copyright control of it which means claims of GFDL licensing fail. We take copyright images seriously continue to upload images incorrectly tagged and you will find your account here blocked from further contribution. If you are having problems knowing the correct license to use, again as above ask BEFORE uploading them. --pgk 12:02, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
